Meetings

Meetings are currently rotated between a Chicago location and the Suburbs.  The current goal is to have 2 meetings in each area per year.  We intend to expand our yearly meetings to include 4 meetings in a Chicago location and 4 in a Suburb location. Meetings are tentatively scheduled for once a quarter.  This may vary a bit depending on availability of venues and speakers for the meetings.

If you want to be notified of Chicago VMUG meetings, be sure to register for the Chicago VMUG.  Once you are registered you will receive the VMware VMUG Newsletter email which will have the meeting announcements.

Would you like to host a meeting?

Does your company have meeting space available that could host around 100 people we would like to hear from you. It’s a great honor and very helpful to the VMUG community to host a VMUG meeting at your location. Would you like to be a guest speaker?

The mantra of the VMUG is community involvement. So the best way to be involved is to interact with your fellow VMUG members. This can be done by networking at meetings. using our LinkedIn group, commenting on posts here and by Presenting a Customer session at a meeting. By presenting a Customer session at a meeting you are able to share what you have experienced in a recent VMware related project. These presentations are very helpful to the community since they provide real world examples and lessons learned during the implementation. These must be VMware focused presentations, you can contact us at info@chicagovmug.com to pitch your idea.
